We currently seek a high calibre Survey Design Engineer to work on a contract basis. We have an URGENT role based in London, on a competitive rate of £250 per shift.
You will be working on a signalling systems upgrade project in London
You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
• Interacting with other departments to ensure survey data is compliant with Thales standards.
• GWAD - Guideway Alignment Data manual surveys; fouling points, traction gaps, end of line & platform boundaries and train stopping.
• Guideway portable track survey, Guideway data collection and validation plan.
• Use of Wayside equipment - Axle counters, inductive loops, RLBs, RTBs, etc
• Station equipment - emergency stop plungers, staff protection key switches etc
You must have valid LUL Entry Permit and Track Accustomed Permits.
